While we are posting your insurance payments to your patient’s ledgers, (if you are contracted) with any carriers we will make any necessary adjustments there are needed to be made UNLESS YOU TELL US OTHERWISE!
We also make notations in patient’s accounts when the expected insurance payment was not made. e.g., if a procedure was downgraded or denied completely. We also make notations for denials of significant dollar amounts on your deposit. This makes it easier for both you and your staff to know at a moment’s glance why something was not paid.
